AllergyCard: Show restaurant staff your food allergies in their language

Hi Product Hunt I'm allergic to shellfish, and every trip abroad came with the same worry. Shellfish is rarely the thing you order. It's in the dashi, the fish sauce, the shrimp paste in the curry, the oyster sauce in the stir-fry, the fryer the shrimp tempura just came out of. Saying "no shellfish" in broken Japanese or Thai doesn't cover any of that, so I built the card I wanted to carry. Most allergy translation cards I found were a single phrase: "I'm allergic to shellfish." That isn't what goes wrong in a restaurant. What goes wrong is the hidden stock, the shared oil, the wok that was wiped instead of washed. So the card says those things too, in the kitchen's language, with your own language underneath so you can check what it says. A few things I learned from the people using it: - Most cards are for Japan and Korea, and most are for nut and shellfish allergies - Two out of three people choose "no cross-contact at all", so that's the default wording, not a footnote - Regional words matter. The Portuguese card says both "Marisco" and "Frutos do mar" so it works in Lisbon and in Rio On accuracy: the Chinese and Japanese cards have been checked by native speakers in China and Japan, and the other languages are being reviewed now.
