Sudoku, made social. ALI Play Sudoku Arena lets friends race the same grid in real time through Game Center party-code rooms — first to finish wins. Every puzzle is guaranteed solvable by pure logic: the generator and hint engine run on a human technique ladder, so no puzzle ever needs a guess. For purists, Blind Mode removes all feedback — no mistake flags, no undo, no redo. Coins buy avatar cosmetics only; star rank is skill and can't be bought.
Hi Product Hunt — I'm Ali, a solo developer in Toronto. I built Sudoku Arena because every Sudoku app I loved was a lonely experience, and every "multiplayer" one I tried let people win by guessing fast.
So I made two rules and built the game around them:
🧩 Every puzzle is solvable by logic alone — the generator proves it with human techniques (singles → pointing pairs → X-Wings and wings), and the practice bot plays the same way: it reasons or it stalls, it never gambles.
🏁 Races are fair — same grid, real-time progress, and in Blind Mode there's no undo and no redo at all.
Progression is cosmetic-only: coins dress up your avatar, stars are pure skill.
