Airtable provides you with a great set of tools that — if wielded properly — can help you build the apps of your dreams. I've made my own task manager, note-taking app, and resource manager (my alternative to an app like Pocket or Raindrop.io), just to a name a few use cases for it.
My main problem with Airtable is that it's difficult for me to share what I create with others. Airtable Universe is an... okay platform for sharing bases, but discovery is quite poor, meaning that it's highly unlikely anyone will see what you publish unless you drive traffic directly to your Airtable Universe page. Additionally, none of the automations in your bases can be copied via Airtable Universe, which hinders your ability to distribute more complex Airtable bases.
I love to work with sheets here. Tags are very helpful for categorizing the info.
It's really simple to use and easy to integrate with other sites, especially softr.
Airtable is really interesting for views, groupings, sorts, and possible filters. It also has a powerful and well-documented API. It's a good low-code tool for bootstrapping project ideas.
Seamless UX and one of the best low-code tools out there
