aicostr: Real-time AI cost tracking in one line of code

Hi Product Hunters. I built aicostr because I kept getting surprised by AI bills across my projects and the existing options were either a proxy I had to route all my traffic through (and trust with my keys), or a dashboard tied to one SDK. aicostr observes from the side instead. One import, and it tracks every AI provider your code already calls without sitting between your app and the API, and without ever seeing your keys, prompts, or responses (only token counts, and that's enforced in CI). You get live spend, end-of-month forecasts, and an alert the moment spend spikes past your baseline. Honest about the limits: zero-code works on most Node and Python stacks, but some bundled serverless setups (e.g. Next.js on Vercel with Sentry in the mix) need a one-line /track fallback, I'd rather say that up front than oversell. Free tier: 50,000 events/month, all providers, no card. The SDK is open source.
