Paste a YouTube link to open transcript text, search exact moments, jump by timestamp, and export TXT, SRT, or VTT in one no-signup workflow. It works when a video exposes subtitle or caption tracks and keeps the value focused on transcript access, search, and export.

Hi Product Hunt, I built AI YouTube Transcript because I kept running into the same simple problem: finding a useful YouTube video was easy, but getting the transcript into a clean, searchable, reusable format was still slower than it should be.
This product is intentionally narrow. Paste a YouTube link or video ID, choose a language, open the transcript, search exact moments, jump by timestamp, and copy TXT or download SRT / VTT without creating an account.
A few things I wanted to get right:
- fast transcript reading instead of a cluttered workflow
- search that helps you find exact lines quickly
- export options that are actually useful for notes, subtitles, and repurposing
One important limitation: if a video does not expose subtitle or caption tracks, there may be no transcript to load. I wanted to be explicit about that instead of pretending every video is supported.
If you use transcripts for studying, research, editing, subtitles, or content repurposing, I would love feedback on three things:
1. Is the search + timestamp flow clear enough?
2. Are the TXT / SRT / VTT exports covering the workflows you care about?
3. What would you want next?
I will be around throughout the launch and happy to answer questions.
