Tired of copy-pasting questions into 6 tabs? AI Council runs ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and others in parallel locally. It uses DOM injection to bypass API costs, forcing AIs to peer-review each other until you get a stress-tested answer.
Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Minkyu, the builder behind AI Council.
I got incredibly tired of copy-pasting the same question into 6 different AI tabs just to fact-check the first answer. So, I built a local app where the AIs do the peer-reviewing for you.
Here’s the fun plot twist: it doesn't use APIs.
AI Council is an Electron app that automates the actual web UIs of ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, and DeepSeek via BrowserViews and DOM injection. This means zero API costs.
To avoid a slow waterfall of queries, it does a fan-out: the primary AI writes a draft, and the app hits "submit" on the other 5 panels simultaneously. They review the draft in parallel from orthogonal angles (Grok looks for flaws, Perplexity checks recency, Claude checks logic), and then the primary AI rewrites a final, stress-tested answer.
We just shipped v1.0.8 which includes Telegram integration. You can message the council from your phone, and your desktop app runs the full 6-model review locally and sends the answer back. (I wrote a deep dive on how this works here: https://minkyuthebuilder.substac...)
✨ Key Features:
6 AIs running in parallel
Bypasses API costs (Uses actual Web UIs)
Fully Local, Free, and Open Source (Windows + Mac)
The multi-AI coordination was genuinely the trickiest part to get right. I’d love to hear your feedback, roast my architecture, or answer any questions you have! 🚀
