AgentLayer isn’t another AI wrapper — it’s an operations layer. Most tools give you prompts or a UI on top of one model. AgentLayer gives you a unified execution layer that handles multi‑model routing, automatic failover, retries, and workflow orchestration without glue code. One API for every model, real‑time usage tracking, clean UI, and operator‑grade stability. It’s built for people who need AI that actually works at scale.

Hey everyone — Francis here 👋
AgentLayer was born from a simple frustration: building agents is easy, but running them reliably is not. Different models, different APIs, rate limits, failures, glue code everywhere… it slows operators down.
So I built the layer I always wished existed.
AgentLayer gives you one unified execution layer for every model, automatic failover, clean workflow orchestration, and real‑time visibility into what your agents are actually doing. No hacks. No scripts. No chaos.
If you try it, I’d love to hear what you build — your feedback will shape the next version.
Thanks for checking it out 🚀

AgentLayer Update — July 2026
A quick honest update for everyone who followed AgentLayer 👋
AgentLayer was originally built as the execution layer between developers and their AI workflows. It worked, people used it, and the product had momentum but the name didn’t survive.
Radix objected to the domain and reclaimed it. So instead of fighting it, I rebuilt the product under a name that actually reflects what it does:
APIPoints.
The new identity is cleaner, sharper, and aligned with the architecture. The product is now a global‑ready API operations layer with:
live LLM pricing
multi‑model routing
OpenAPI autodiscovery
JSON‑LD WebAPI schema
MCP manifests
full usage visibility
agent‑native execution flows
AgentLayer was the prototype. APIPoints is the product.
I’ll be relaunching APIPoints shortly with the full feature set, the new identity, and the direction the product was always meant to have.
Thanks to everyone who supported AgentLayer. The next version is sharper, clearer, and built for real operators.
