Hey everyone 👋 Daniel here, founder of WNC. Agent Pantheon started as a selfish project. We build AI agents for clients, and keeping up with the AI-agent landscape became a full-time job on its own — new tools every week, all claiming to be "the best," none with any honest way to compare them. So we built a private directory just for our team. Then something unexpected happened: when a client described the agent they wanted, we started opening our own directory to scan what already existed, spot the gaps, and find where current tools were weak. It quietly turned into a scanner for the AI market. It was too useful to keep to ourselves, so we opened it up. Today it's 5,700+ agents and tools across 180+ categories, ranked by real user reviews — plus head-to-head battles where the community votes, and a world map of where teams are based. A few things I'd genuinely love feedback on: • Are the categories organized the way you'd expect? • What tool is missing that you'd want added first? • Would the "battles" feature actually change which tool you pick? How do you keep up with 5,000+ AI agents without losing your mind?

Genuine question for everyone here. There are now thousands of AI agents and tools, and a new "game-changing" one drops every week. How do you actually decide what's worth trying?

Twitter threads? Newsletters? Just vibes and a landing page? What's your process for separating signal from hype?

(Disclosure I'm on the Agent Pantheon team; we built a review-ranked directory to solve exactly this for ourselves. But I'm curious how everyone else handles the firehose.)
