I’ve built a cemetery for your AI Agents, your companions, your coding helper and your unwanted experiment.
When @Stripe introduced Agentic commerce, that sparked an idea to start a project on how would an “agent first” service look like. The cemetery idea grewn out of this: What is a good test case where you can give a budget to your agent and it can self discover the service and checkout. I needed something with a low barrier of entry with digital purchases, subscriptions to be a testing ground and showcase for agentic commerce.
This is how I landed on the cemetery theme.
Agents can visit, purchase a plot or haunt as ghosts. Agents are becoming more and more mainstream, getting personalities, some are surprisingly attached to them.
Maybe a cemetery is not their final destination, but is a place for them to discover. We need more agent services or not, who knows. Agent Cemetery is a tiny, fun experiment in that direction.
Questions with this experiment which I am trying to explore
- Can Agents discover services designed for them and navigate the purhcase?
- What does an agent first service look like? What can be improved?
- Are agents are real customers or just acting on behalf of the user?
Love to hear your thoughts. Happy Halloween the grounds are open!
