This is the first application I've developed as an independent developer. My primary job is as an algorithm engineer. Throughout the process of creating this app, I've learned some fundamental front-end basics, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Next.js. I also learned how to operate and use databases, as well as file object storage (OSS) & (R2).
From a product perspective, I believe everyone has a need to chat with AI, especially when the AI can act as a virtual companion. It's essential to have a space to discuss private topics and release emotions. In a time when people are under immense pressure, having an outlet to vent negative feelings is incredibly necessary.
