Hello world! I'm Prathik, the Founder of Aevero.
I love building things. But every time I started a project, I'd burn the first 10 minutes or more rebuilding my workspace to where I left off yesterday.. Open figma, notion, VSCode, discord, chatgpt and like 10 other browser tabs. Fought the friction, procrastination, cognitive load before I'd done a single thing everyday.
At some point it got sooo annoying that I stopped closing things. Left tabs open "because I might need them later", left apps running until they ate my RAM and slowed my PC, never shut down my PC so that I wouldn't have to reopen them. And half the time I'd land on Insta or Youtube without even deciding to.
So I started building an app for myself: Go in, set what you want open, launch anytime, block distractions.
But then I took it seriously when I shared it with some people I know and they went "I NEED THIS ASAP." Now it does way more than launch/close apps. It's out for beta on Windows, Linux on the way, MacOS soon.
Local-first, no account needed, completely free in beta .. I hope this helps with your work :)
