I built this because I wanted the Vista glass look back and nothing on Windows does it properly anymore. Most docks are macOS impersonations. RocketDock, which I used for years, had its last release in 2008. Hover an app and you get live previews of its open windows. Those are real DWM thumbnails, so you see what each window is doing right now. Click to focus, click again to cycle or minimize. There's keyboard search over your installed apps and recent files, and six themes. The Windows side is Rust talking straight to Win32 and COM. The interface is React in WebView2, which is the only way I could get the blur and gloss to look right. Two honest warnings. It sits around 250MB of RAM, which is heavy for a dock. And the installer isn't signed, so SmartScreen will throw a scary box at you the first time. MIT licensed, all on GitHub, no network requests at all.
