We built AdLabs out of a frustration we knew firsthand. Stephen and Andrew had been managing Amazon PPC accounts for years and kept running into the same wall: the tools available either hid their logic behind black-box automation or required you to stitch together a dozen spreadsheets just to understand what was happening in your campaigns. The specific problem we set out to solve was bidding. Most platforms optimize toward ROAS, which sounds right until you realize it ignores order value and conversion rate at the placement level. We built our bid engine around Revenue Per Click instead, because RPC captures the full picture of what a click is actually worth. From there, the platform grew around what real practitioners need: n-gram analysis to find converting search terms, dayparting to match bids to your best-performing hours, AMC audience tools to reach buyers you can't see in standard reporting, and dashboards you actually build yourself instead of inheriting Amazon's defaults. The thing we're most proud of is the transparency. You can always see why a bid changed. No guessing, no trust-me automation. Just clear logic you can audit and adjust. We're a small team that still runs real accounts. That keeps us honest about what actually matters.
