Most AI tools want another tab open. ACTI feels much lighter

@zhangzhang That's exactly the shift we were going for! The "open another tab, copy, paste, switch back" loop is such a heavy tax on actually getting things done. If you end up building any Skills, would love to see what you come up with!
Acti
@zhangzhang Thanks for the support — here's Acti Code to unlock LIFETIME Premium: 3B1T1M
Acti
@zhangzhang Thank you! Glad it feels that way — that’s what we wanted to create.
Acti
@zhangzhang Thanks! That's exactly the experience we're aiming for. Instead of asking you to open another app or tab, we want AI to be available right where you're already typing, so it feels like a natural part of your workflow.

I underestimated how annoying app switching had become until I used this. Most productivity tools still require opening another app, copying links, switching context, then returning to the original task. ACTI reduces a lot of that tiny friction that builds up throughout the day.
Acti
@call_me_young @alice_lee0917 Thank you Alice, and yes those tiny frictions can build up and ppl might not even notice how much time they could save without it

I've tried quite a few AI keyboards, but most of them stop at rewriting text or generating replies. What stood out to me about Acti is that it treats the keyboard as an execution layer instead of just a writing assistant.
The biggest win is reducing context switching. Being able to search for a Notion doc, generate a Meet link, check live information, or trigger a workflow without leaving the app sounds like a much smaller change than it actually feels in day-to-day use. Those tiny interruptions add up.
I also like the "Skill Keys" concept. Giving users a way to build and reuse their own actions makes the keyboard feel extensible instead of becoming another closed AI interface.
It's still early, and I'd love to see more third-party integrations and deeper customization over time, but I think the product is pointing in a genuinely interesting direction. If AI is going to become ambient, the keyboard is one of the most natural places for it to live.
Congrats to the team—looking forward to seeing where this goes. 👏
Acti
@ll_wen Thank you so much for such a thoughtful review, Daniel! You captured exactly what we’re trying to build: not just another AI writing assistant, but an execution layer that works wherever you type.
We completely agree that deeper customization and more third-party integrations are the natural next steps. We’re still early, but we’re working hard to make Skill Keys more powerful and the whole experience more extensible.
“If AI is going to become ambient, the keyboard is one of the most natural places for it to live” is such a great way to put it. Really appreciate your support and insight!
the way it pulls up live sports schedules and nearby restaurants without breaking your flow feels really well thought out, the bar stays out of the way until you actually need it
Acti
@saniye0ike hank you! That's exactly what we were aiming for. We wanted Acti to stay out of the way until you actually need it, then help you complete the task without interrupting your workflow. Glad that experience came through
The philosophy behind Acti really shows in how the product behaves. It doesn't demand attention or try to replace other apps. Instead, it connects them quietly through the keyboard. That restraint makes it feel thoughtful and very intentional rather than gimmicky.
Acti
@yuan_wang9 Thank you! That means a lot. Our goal was never to replace the apps people already use, but to make interacting with them feel more seamless. We're glad that philosophy came through in the experience.
How does it actually figure out my intent if I just type something casual like "grab lunch with Sam tomorrow" — does it need permission to my calendar and contacts first?
How does Acti actually pull from Notion or Calendar in real time, does it read directly via API keys or do I have to mirror my data somewhere first?
