Hi Product Hunt, As AI is continually integrated into corporate platforms and third-party software, we did not want confidential client conversations to depend on systems whose processing we cannot inspect or control. We wanted something of our own. At rainyseason.cr, we value client confidentiality and proprietary creative ideas. Email is slow for active ideation, so we built Private Line: an immediate encrypted channel between our clients and our studio in Costa Rica. We host and operate our own deployment. It is operated by humans with zero AI integration. The public project lets anyone run a separate line of their own. Private Line is end-to-end encrypted. Messages are sealed and signed in the browser. The relay stores ciphertext but never holds a decryption key. Passkeys provide identity. Privacy should be inspectable. We published the generic implementation under MIT, including the encryption path, server, client, protocol, threat model, test vectors, and adversarial tests. Anyone can inspect the implementation and check its documented security properties instead of relying on a closed vendor claim. The project has zero dependencies. There is no framework, package install, bundler, or build step. It starts with: npm start Public code is not a security guarantee. Version 0.1 has not been independently audited.
