Hi Product Hunt 👋 I make a lot of short how-to videos, and every one of them hit the same wall. macOS ⌘⇧5 records the screen fine, but it cannot capture system audio, it does not zoom, and the raw take always needed a trip through an editor before anyone could actually follow along. So I built the recorder I wanted. The effects render live, at 60fps, while you record: auto-zoom follows your cursor and eases back out when you stop moving, the cursor is redrawn bold with a ripple on each click, keystrokes appear as a pill in the frame, and you can draw arrows and boxes straight onto the screen mid-recording. System audio is captured through Apple's own ScreenCaptureKit, so there is no virtual driver or system extension to install. The biggest shift while building it: I kept assuming I needed a real timeline editor, and it turned out most recordings need nothing but a trim. So the editor stayed small — split, reorder, trim, undo — and the effort went into making the raw take good enough to publish as-is. Free while in beta: no watermark, no time limit, no account.
