Most QR menu tools charge $10–20/month per location. Ours is free: paste a CSV, get a beautiful mobile menu + printable QR. No login, no subscription. Built by Fourleaf Studio.
Hi Product Hunt! 👋 We are Fourleaf Studio, an AI-native software house.
The backstory:
Our founder's career started in 1981, designing electronics and writing embedded software in Assembly and C. For 32 years his world was microscopic: every byte and every millisecond mattered. In 2014 he took a leap and opened a restaurant, and ran it for 12 years. That is where we learned the brutal math of hospitality margins — firsthand.
The market reality we're attacking:
Restaurant owners today are squeezed from three directions:
• QR menu display tools charge $10–20/month per location (or a "free" tier with watermarks and view limits).
• Direct-ordering platforms charge €99–129/month forever, or "free" with a 1–3% cut of every order. Even the big "free" player is exiting — GloriaFood retires in April 2027.
• Delivery marketplaces take 20–30% commission per order, plus payment fees and "visibility packages."
What we built:
First, a free tool — the 4Leaf QR Menu Maker. Paste a CSV, get a beautiful mobile menu page + printable QR code. No login, no subscription, no watermark. Static HTML you can host anywhere, or we host free at 4leaf.lv/your-restaurant during our launch period. Try it: 4leaf.lv/tools/qr-menu/
Second, the real product: a full direct-ordering system — cart, card payments, delivery zones, GDPR-compliant — for a one-time fixed price (€900–€2,700). No commissions, no monthly software fees. The restaurant owns the code and the customer relationship. Live example: fakeitaly.lv
Why the math works:
A one-time €900 pays for itself in under a year versus a €99/month SaaS — and versus a 25% marketplace commission, in a few weeks of orders.
Question for the community:
We're using the free tool as an "engineering as marketing" funnel into the one-time-price systems. For those of you who have run free-tool lead magnets: what actually converted free users into paying clients, without being spammy?
We'd love your feedback on the tool, the pricing model, and the funnel. Thanks for having us! 🍀
