Private landlords were either paying significant letting agent fees or trying to manage everything themselves across spreadsheets, emails, calendars and paper files. As compliance requirements increased, so did the risk of missing important dates, certificates and tenancy obligations. Most of the software I came across felt built for agencies rather than individual landlords. It was often expensive, overly complex, or packed with features that smaller landlords didn't actually need. So I started building 360Rent. The goal was simple: create a mobile-first platform that helps private landlords manage properties, tenancies, compliance and maintenance from one place without relying on expensive agents. The product has evolved significantly during development. What started as a compliance tracker became a broader landlord management platform after speaking with landlords who wanted a simpler way to manage the entire tenancy lifecycle.
