Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built SGER because choosing a residential proxy is surprisingly confusing.
There are dozens of providers, similar marketing claims, and terms like residential IP, ISP proxy, static IP, rotating proxy, and residential VPS are often mixed together. I wanted to create a resource that explains the differences in plain language and compares providers based on actual use, pricing, IP characteristics, and stability.
SGER is not a proxy provider itself. It’s an independent comparison and testing site.
For the providers I review, I try to purchase and test the services myself instead of simply repeating what is written on their landing pages. I look at things like ASN/IP type, fraud scores, connection stability, pricing, session behavior, and how suitable each option is for legitimate use cases such as AI tools, cross-border work, social media management, e-commerce, and data collection.
One thing I learned while building the site is that the “best residential IP” really depends on what you’re doing. A fixed ISP proxy can make sense for a stable long-term environment, while rotating residential proxies are usually a completely different tool.
SGER is still evolving, and I’m continuing to add more hands-on tests, comparisons, screenshots, and practical guides.
I’d especially love feedback on two things:
• What information do you usually want to know before choosing a proxy provider?
• What would make the comparisons more useful or trustworthy?
Thanks for checking it out — I’m happy to answer any questions.
