Zlick started off in 2017 as a payment and paywall solution for local publishers. One of them even joined our cap table and became an investor. We have paid out more than 10 000 000 euros in subscription revenue already. Our plugin has integration with Stripe for the payment. We've always been close to our customers and involved in the strategy building. This has given us enormous insight into their data, what works & what doesn't, and how i could work for small time bloggers and content creators. We've put that knowledge into the UI design it's guaranteed to have high conversion rates. Now we are looking for WordPress bloggers & creators to test it for 1-3 months, give us feedback, and work with us. Later we'll use these tests as a case study and create content around it. We'll work with you to - install the plugin - come up with monetisation strategy - onboard first subscribers to start growing recurring revenue base You will - keep all the subscription revenue from the testing period - keep all the subscriber data collected during the period Plugin is free to use but Zlick does take small cut of 5% from transactions and Stripe has its own transaction fees (1.4%).

It's a way to build your subscription business that's content-focused. But what are the benefits of a paywall? Stable income — Your fans can buy access to the content they want to consume. This makes creators less reliable on revenue from web traffic (ads) and sponsored content. Fixing the issue for small-time & local creators. They can generate income from content that they already create. Data to measure — you’ll have a better overview of how your content performs and what type of content your audience wants to see. Understand what kind of posts bring in subscribers, what content sells, and what you should be creating more of. It has never been this easy to measure the ROI of content. Loyal customer base — Every purchase data ends up in your CRM where you can re-engage with your subscribers. Consumers will return to your site more often when they are paying for access. Zlick takes only 5% of commission to keep the plugin development ongoing and leaving the creator with majority of their revenue.
