Last month I decided to actually add up what I've spent on domains since 2020. €4,200.
For projects I never shipped. Features I never coded. Landing pages I never launched.
Figured if I'm going to have this problem, so does everyone else here. So I built Your Domains Wrapped - because if we're all collecting domains, we might as well turn it into shareable cards.

I did the same thing last year and finally added up what my “harmless” domain collection was costing me. Turns out “I’ll build something with it eventually” is an expensive coping mechanism.
What I like about this is that it’s not preachy or productivity-bro about it. It just shows you the numbers and lets you sit with the regret (or laugh about it and share). The shareable cards are a nice touch too.
71 domains at $2.1k/year already hurts, but I’m 100% sure someone here is sitting on a triple-digit domain stash.

Let’s just say it confirmed I’m very good at buying names and much less good at actually shipping. Seeing it laid out like that was equal parts funny and painful.
