I’m Yang Yu, the solo developer behind YardStyling.

With AI being such a huge trend lately, I've noticed plenty of landscape tools popping up. But as a homeowner staring at my own overgrown backyard, I realized most of them just generate "fantasy art"—pretty to look at, but impossible to actually build.

I wanted to build a practical starting point for real homeowners. My goal was to create something that doesn't just show you a pretty picture, but gives you a plan to execute it.

Enter YardStyling. It’s a digital design studio that bridges the gap between a snapshot and a shovel-ready project.

How we are different:
🎨 Total Control: Unlike standard prompters, you can browse our libraries to select specific styles (Zen, Cottage, Modern) and specific features (Fire pits, Pergolas, Native Plants) before you generate.
🛠 The "Living Blueprint": We don't just give you an image. We generate a practical guide including a Phased Action Plan, Bill of Materials, and Cost Estimates.
✨ Iterative Refinement: It’s rare to get it perfect on the first try. Our "Refine" tool lets you mask specific areas to swap materials or plants without losing the rest of the design.

It's still early days, and I'm building this out of a genuine passion for the space. I’m trying to improve it based on feedback from people who actually care about their homes, so I would be grateful for any thoughts you have on the concept or the designs it creates.
