I have an air purifier in each room. They do NOT look this good, and they're not connected with a meter to show me how good/bad the air quality is. As an NYC resident that loves having the windows open, I know sometimes with cars and nearby construction that I should have my windows closed. Halo + Wynd Home Purifier seems like the best combo for my family. ALSO - the portable air purifier seems perfect for the car! So cool.

Thanks for hunting us @Kristofer! We've been working on this product for almost two years and are super excited to be on Product Hunt today! Wynd Halo + Home Purifier is a complete air quality system comprised of a comprehensive 10-in-1 air quality monitor, with the most powerful smart air purifier under $500 (capable of cleaning up to 1,200 square feet). Halo tracks your environment and proactively engages the Home Purifier, as well as a multitude of other IOT devices to ensure that you’re always breathing the best air at home no matter what you’re up to. There are 5 different optimization modes, from productivity, exercise, to sleep, and in each metrics like pollutants, temperature, humidity, CO2, and even light and noise are tracked and managed so you can be at your best. We also created a technology called Air ID to combine sensor data with contextual data (like time, location, weather / pollution reports) to determine what is the actual composition of your air, from pollen to smog. We're on our last week at Kickstarter, and you can still take advantage of special pre-order prices to get yours today! Please let us know what you think and if you have any questions. See you in the comments below! 😃 -Ray (co-founder)

I purchased 2 purifiers and 2 halos on Kickstarter. Will each halo only be specific to its corresponding purifier or can one halo control/monitor both purifiers? And will I be able to control each purifier independently using voice control through Alexa and Siri? For example I may only want to turn on the purifier on the first floor during the day and only have the 2nd floor purifier on during the night.

@d_d3 Hey D, Thanks for commenting and great questions. To answer your first question, the Halo control system (from your app) can allow you to set up multiple Halo / Purifier combinations, and if you have a 1 Halo + 2 Purifier configuration it will be able to work that way. Also, yes you will be able to control each purifier independently and the app will send you alerts if air quality is bad so you can choose whether to run both (like during the wildfires).

Literally just bought the Boneco H680, a hybrid humidifier and air purifier in one. We have a new baby so both of these elements in our home is more important than ever. Even though it's just an air purifier, your price tag is much, much better than the ones I've seen out there. Air quality is going to be an increasingly important factor in daily life so kudos for tackling a real problem.

@joshuapinter Thanks Joshua! We wanted to make the products useful and unique, but also within reach.

Just a couple questions. How frequently do you suggest filter replacement for the purifier? What is the noise level (dB) of the purifier?

@penguinparty The average lifetime of the V-Series HEPA filters is 12 months but can vary based on your usage level and the amount of pollution in your air. The app will be able to intuitively determine your exact lifetime based on these variables. The Wynd Home purifier is 30-35 dB at normal settings and 62 dB at its highest settings.
