I've been working on this for a while, trying to make the it best possible English dictionary / vocabulary builder for iOS. Would love to hear what everyone thinks!
Hey @jonzhan, amazing app! This is exactly what I was looking for and it is so beautifully done in every detail. Actually I'm already developing something very similar on another platform. I just started using Word Vault and fall in love with it. I'm seeing so much potential in the app. Have you thought about making the addition of new words easier? For example I would love to add new words on my mac (with a browser plugin or even a tiny app) and then review them on the iPhone. Also it would great to add new words through the "share" functionality from other apps on the iPhone.
@mironov Thank you! I'm glad you like the app! Both of those features are coming. :)
@jonzhan That's great! Can't wait the new release, keep up the great work.
Just watched the video and it looks nice, congrats. I work for a large school district and I was thinking this would be good for students to build their vocabulary throughout the year. (which we used to just buy pencil and paper versions at the teacher store) Is there a chance we could pilot it out with a 1:1 iPad classroom? I would be happy to give a blog post and some student/teacher feedback.
@jonsamuelson Let's look into that! I'll get in touch with you on Twitter!
Awesome product here !

I've been looking for an easy-to-use app to prep myself for GRE/MCAT. Most of the word apps are built for kids or are full of fancy tricks which I don't need. This is exactly what I want, and I love the quick search.

Pros:

clean and easy to use, perfect for adult/advanced user

Cons:

hard to search for this app in ios app store
