Every time I wanted to feed a document into an AI, I'd end up copying and pasting from Word or PDF, losing all the formatting, fighting with messy outputs, or manually tidying things up. It's a small friction, but when you're doing it dozens of times a day as part of AI adoption work, it adds up. So I built winnow.md. It's a simple, free tool that converts your documents to clean markdown. No sign-up, no nonsense. Upload a file, get markdown back. Job done. Honestly, I built this for myself. I've been using it for months while building projects in Lovable and it's become part of my daily workflow. I just figured other people are probably dealing with the same annoyance, so why not put it out there. This is the first tool in a small ecosystem I'm building to make AI adoption easier.
