Hand-picked music gems.

A bunch of people (including myself) very passionate when it comes to digging for hidden music gems decided to create a place where people can discover music other than big names, big marketing campaigns and so on.

Hi there, Music shouldn't be like Mc Donald's. Hand-picked music gems. A bunch of people (including myself) very passionate when it comes to digging for hidden music gems decided to create a place where people can discover music other than big names, big marketing campaigns and so on. We are just starting out. Any kind of feedback will be appreciated. Thank you!

@agispas Love the idea and some really nice tracks. It would be nice to have some attribution to artists on the videos themselves within the YouTube description. This still allows people to experience what you've built, as the player is embedded on your site, but if someone wants to know what the track is, they can open the YouTube URL. Without this it feels like you're restricting discovery somewhat, as people will never be able to discover the artists as they don't know who produced the track. Do you also have permission from copyright holders to upload? YouTube is notoriously unforgiving with copyright strikes.

@milo_ Hi Milo, I totally agree with you. At the moment I'm thinking of a nicer way to engage people in finding the name of the artist or the name of the track. I do not know, maybe something like "share to find the track name" or something. Regarding the copyright, I do not have permission from the authors, but I just promote them (low-quality audio). Also, this was one of the reasons for not showing the artist name and track name in the first place. However, I do not think that someone will get "angry" because I promote their music. Will see! Thank you very much for your feedback!
