Time tracking for developers and keyboard lovers

Whid is a (MacOS for now) time tracker for those who like command lines and staying focused. Track time without switching windows or navigating menus—just press a shortcut and type. The PRO version syncs with project management systems for easy time booking.

Hi, I'm one of the two developers of Whid. We made the app because all other time trackers were either (in our opinion) ridiculously priced or didn't fit our needs. We wanted to have something that is unobtrusive while working and can be used without taking your hands off the keyboard. We also needed a solution that allows for syncing the tracked times with existing project management systems as we work in a company that uses Jira and an in house tool for tracking times on development and customer projects. Within our company, Whid became quite popular and we decided that we want to publish it outside the company as well. We built integrations for several other project management systems and rounded off the core functionalities like several simple commands that allow you to be more flexible with your tracking, CSV export for the free version and much more. The app is free to use, the project management integrations require the PRO version. We have versions of the App for MacOS, Windows and Linux but for now, only the Mac version is publicly as we decided to make it release ready first and the App Store seemed like a good place to start.
