Hi everyone, I’m excited to share something I’ve been working on: WhatToWear — an AI-powered wardrobe assistant designed to simplify how people manage and plan their outfits. 🧩 Why I built it This project started after hearing a common frustration from friends and early users: “I have clothes I like, but I struggle to put outfits together.” “I want to plan what to wear in advance, but I never find the time.” Despite how much technology has advanced in recent years, getting dressed — something we all do every day — still involves a lot of guesswork, repetition, and decision fatigue. I wanted to fix that. 🧠 What WhatToWear does • Automatically categorizes your clothing using AI — just upload your items • Suggests outfit combinations tailored to your wardrobe, the weather, and the occasion • Lets you plan what to wear using a visual calendar • Converts product links from retailers into wardrobe-ready items for seamless integration The goal is to help people feel more confident and organized — not by buying more, but by making better use of what they already own. It’s still early, and I’m constantly improving the experience based on feedback.
