What do you think? …

Yashlin Maistry
Hey ProductHunt Why Did I build WhatDoYouDo? I built WhatDoYouDo to have really good relationships with my people. I am not the greatest at keeping track of the meaningful updates from my friends and colleagues. whether its the name of their cat, the new start up they are working on, or that I promised i would make an introduction with someone else in my network Why did I build WhatDoYouDo Now? I am between consulting jobs after a long time and it's very apparent I have lost touch of my network Why would WhatDoYouDo be useful to you Now? With Christmas fast approaching, its likely you will catch up with friends and family you don't regularly see, so you might want to keep track of the important details you learn My thinking behind the design Its styled to resemble a old school rolodex - I'm too young to have had one but I thought the simplicity of it is still timeless. Each contact has their own card, with the key information immediately available. When you drill down on a card, you can see more info about their location, job and notes After every interaction/catch up you learn more about your contact. I wanted to have this captured as a log of this information. This is useful place to visit to refresh yourself on whats the latest in their lives. Why is it a once off fee only? Like the rolodex, it's something you will only use it a few times a month so I thought a monthly-subscription would be unfair and would put people off. Utilising AI is part of the roadmap however this will be done on the browser or people could use their own API Key If you do try it, I would really appreciate your feedback

@yashmaistry love the simplicity of this! I can definitely see this coming in handy for all the new people I’m meeting.
