Hey PH,👋 📖 STORY I started learning to code and this is the first product I ever built. 🔨 I challenged myself to build and ship 10 products this year, really hard plan while working full-time. You can read about my challenge here: https://blog.iamtamas.com/i-didn... 🐶 PRODUCT I’m a proud owner of two dogs and I want to make sure that I feed them with food that keep them healthy in the long-term. When it comes to feeding our dogs human food, some typical questions arise: What kind of human foods can dogs eat? What foods are dangerous for dogs? 🍞🍈🥓🍌🍐🥩🍔🍕 So I thought how cool would it be an app that tells you exactly that by simply typing in the food’s name. I also wrote a long guide answering the most frequently asked questions regarding feeding dogs with human food. The app checks mostly basic foods and the most popular human foods, not complex, prepared meals. I’m so excited to share this early version with you guys, let me know what you think so I can make a better new version. :)

@torok_tomi Instead of searching for "potato" on the website I could message "potato" to the Telegram bot. I think a simple "API" would be needed for that bot (something like the form on your website that checks the entered search term in your database).

This is a really great app for when you're on the go, but I would recommend actually trying not to feed your dog a whole bunch of things unless you're absolutely sure. I'm also pretty sure that there are some websites on the internet that already provide a very concise list of what a dog can and can't eat too. Perhaps you should think of enhancing this app to include other pets too? That might make it really stand out!

I think it would be cool if there's a mobile app that works with machine learning by using the phone's camera to detect the foods and just say the result whether it's edible by dogs (also 🐈) or not.
