Jane Smorodnikova

Hey Product Hunt!

I'm Jane, co-founder of Welltory. Today we're launching Real-Time Stress Relief – a feature that's been years in the making.

Why we built this:

Most wearables tell you stress was high yesterday. Great. Now what?

We spent years analyzing data from 16M+ users to understand something nobody else was looking at: the invisible moments when your heart races while you're sitting still. These "sedentary stress" episodes don't just drain your energy - they're accumulating cardiovascular risk over time.

What makes this different:

This isn't generic wellness advice. Every insight is based on YOUR personal data and powered by AI trained on millions of people. The app shows you exactly when stress is building right now, what's triggering it, and gives you timed actions to reverse it before you're toast at 8pm.

Often it's just: Move for 5 minutes. Simple. Measurable. Effective.

Our mission:

Preventive health through real-time stress management. This launch is just the beginning - we're working on helping people catch cardiovascular risks before they become problems.

My personal lifehack? Just laying down with laptop on a couch during Zoom meetings where I'm not the leading speaker. Sounds lazy, but it works and allows me to be alive for the next and more demanding one.

We're done waiting for burnout to tell us we've pushed too far. The data to prevent it is already tracking you – we're just making it impossible to ignore.

🎁 Special for the Product Hunt Community:

As a thank you, use the promo code welltory_ph_25 to get up to 52% off your annual or lifetime subscription. We'd love for you to experience the full power of one app for your health.

Try it and let me know what patterns you discover about yourself. I'd especially love your feedback if you're someone who feels drained by 8pm and can't figure out why.

Excited to hear what works for you!

Jane

jenyago

@jsmorodnikovaΒ when you revert feature for export of data ? I really can't live without it as i use this data for my own model to train and predict my stress as well

Jane Smorodnikova

@strategyherogoΒ We're really sorry to hear that something isn’t working for you, but based on our data the export feature is functioning normally.
You can access and download your raw data here: https://app.welltory.com/dashboard/
If something still doesn’t work on your side, please reach out to us through the app (Menu β†’ Report a problem) or at support@welltory.com β€” we’ll be happy to help!

Victoria Sukhenko

@jsmorodnikovaΒ  @strategyherogoΒ Thanks Jenya! If something doesn’t sync, you can always reach us via the in-app chat β€” we’re pretty quick there.

Huy Tieu

@jsmorodnikovaΒ This real-time stress relief feature sounds game-changing! I appreciate how Welltory analyzes subtle β€œsedentary stress” moments using data from millions of users and offers simple, personalized actions to prevent burnout. The focus on preventive cardiovascular health is impressive, and the ability to connect multiple devices for integrated insights makes this a powerful tool. Can’t wait to try it and see how it helps manage my energy throughout the day!

Jane Smorodnikova

@0xlightΒ Thank you so much for the kind words and support β€” really appreciate it!

Maria Ermatova

@jsmorodnikovaΒ  @0xlightΒ Thanks a lot, it means a lot to us. We’ve put a huge amount of work into this β€” it’s our biggest update in the last two years. Hope you’ll enjoy it! And if you have any ideas or feedback, feel free to share them here or in the app.

Stepan Solodnev

@jsmorodnikovaΒ  @0xlightΒ Appreciate it, Huy! Your input is super valuable. Feel free to share what’s working well and what needs improving β€” either here or through the β€œContact Us” option in the app.

Amy Ingram
@jsmorodnikova wow! What a cool product. I can literally feel how sitting too much makes my body ache and I try to walk a lot but an app like this would be super useful. οΏΌ
Marina Kovaleva

@amy_ingramΒ
Thank you! We’re really glad it resonates!
You’re totally right β€” you can feel it in your body when you've been sitting too long. What’s tricky is that your heart and nervous system often react before the aches show up.

That’s exactly what the app helps with: it detects those early signs of β€œsitting stress” in real time and nudges you before the strain builds up. A quick stretch or short walk can make a huge difference.

So happy to hear it feels useful already.

Jane Smorodnikova

@amy_ingramΒ Thank you so much, Amy!
Hope the app helps you catch those moments early. Would love to hear how it works for you once you try it!

Amy Ingram

@jsmorodnikovaΒ Will do. Just downloaded it.

Victoria Sukhenko

@jsmorodnikovaΒ  @amy_ingramΒ Thanks for the kind words Amy! If you hit any friction during onboarding, please flag it to us.

Veranika Zdanovich

@jsmorodnikovaΒ  @amy_ingramΒ Thank you!

Tetiana

@jsmorodnikovaΒ Which languages is it available in? I believe this is a valuable tool for parents. Congrats on your launch!

Anna Druzhinets

@tetiana_hryshmanovskaΒ Thanks so much, Tetiana! πŸ™Œ

Right now it’s available in English, and more languages are on our roadmap.

As a mom myself, I’ve actually discovered a lot of surprising things using this tool β€” for example, that the 1.5-hour bedtime routine with my three-year-old is actually one of my key recovery moments πŸ˜…

Tetiana

@anna_druzhinetsΒ wow, that’s so exciting! πŸ˜„ Thank you for sharing!

Stepan Solodnev

@anna_druzhinetsΒ  @tetiana_hryshmanovskaΒ We've seen many requests for multilingual support. We'll do it asap

Evgeny Teilor

@jsmorodnikovaΒ  @tetiana_hryshmanovskaΒ Β we'll be eagerly awaiting your feedback, cause there is still a lot to be implemented and we hope to surprise you again and again.

Anton Gubarenko

@jsmorodnikovaΒ Wow! What a day to get such news. Congrats with Stress monitoring feature release. Shout to the whole team for their hard work to make it happen.

Victoria Sukhenko

@jsmorodnikovaΒ  @anton_gubarenkoΒ Thanks a ton! This update was a big one for our engineering team, so it’s great to see it resonate.

Stepan Solodnev

@jsmorodnikovaΒ  @anton_gubarenkoΒ thanks for your feedback Anton! Much appreciated!

Yana Semour

Victoria Sukhenko

@yana_semourΒ Appreciate it Yana! If you end up using one part of the feature more than others, we’d be curious to know why β€” feel free to share in the app chat.

Stepan Solodnev

@yana_semourΒ We are glad that you visited us Yana, especially if you have already started to implement many things in your life.

Ciprian Balanica
This sounds nice! What are some of the most important markers it tracks? It's the first time I hear about an app being able to measure your stress. Also, it seems the Google play is broken. Or is it available only in certain regions? I'm from Romania, is it not available in here?
Alexander Neshitov

@nair0Β Thanks so much! Happy to explain πŸ™‚

We track several important markers to estimate stress, including:
β€’ Heart rate variability (HRV)
β€’ Patterns in your heart rate
β€’ Movement & activity intensity
β€’ Sleep quality & recovery markers

Maria Ermatova

@nair0Β Thanks for checking!
We're temporarily withdrawn from the Google Play Store in Romania. Please rest assured we are actively working to promptly resolve this. For now, please download our Android app here.
We can't wait for you to try our new Stress Relief!

Evgeny Teilor

@nair0Β btw, it's good that you noticed this. Thank you!

Yana Shimanskaya

Great update! Congratulations!

Alexander Neshitov

@yashimanskayaΒ Thanks a lot! Glad you liked the update!

Veranika Zdanovich

@yashimanskayaΒ Thanks a lot!

Stepan Solodnev

@yashimanskayaΒ Thanks for checking us out Yana! Curious: did you find what helps you lower stress fast? Feel free to share what worked in the in-app chat!

Evgeny Teilor

@yashimanskayaΒ We tried our best. I'm glad the product is resonating with users. Thanks Yana!

Kate Ramakaieva

Congrats! What are the simple actions that the app recommends to reduce my stress?

Veranika Zdanovich

@kate_ramakaievaΒ You can change your body position, take a break, do a breathing exercise, do a short, intense exercise to raise your heart rate, or lie down or lie on your stomach. But the point is for people to find what works best for them. Everyone is different, and different methods work for everyone. For some, lying down during a call helps them transition into recovery mode, while for others, that’s not enough. Some people need to run to get their heart rate up, while others need a brisk walk. It’s important for people to learn what works best for them.

Maria Ermatova

@kate_ramakaievaΒ As Veranika said, the actions are different and very easy, and you will definitely find what works best for you!

Stepan Solodnev

@kate_ramakaievaΒ Thanks for question, Kate! I think you already know and use some of them. We'd be thrilled if the app allowed you to expand your range of exercises.

Maria Anosova πŸ”₯

This looks greatπŸ‘
These 100+ biomarkers what are they actually? Like HRV, heart rate, steps, or something more complex?

Alexander Neshitov

@maria_anosovaΒ Hi! Yes, the basics are pretty familiar things: HRV, resting heart rate, steps, calories. The rest are combinations and derivatives of these signals that we analyze together.

Maria Anosova πŸ”₯
@alexander_neshitov Ok, and which one do you track the most as an indicator of stress?
Alexander Neshitov

@maria_anosovaΒ HRV, definitely. Its dynamics are the best way to see how the nervous system is reacting to load in the moment.

Siarhei Bachyla

@maria_anosovaΒ  @alexander_neshitovΒ Oh, I'll have to pay more attention to this indicator. Cool.

Evgeny Teilor

@maria_anosovaΒ  @alexander_neshitovΒ  @siarhei_bachylaΒ We'd be super grateful for your feedback on this indicator once you have time to try it out in action.

Veranika Zdanovich

@maria_anosovaΒ Thank you! We’re live πŸŽ‰

Stepan Solodnev

@maria_anosovaΒ Really appreciate your question, Maria! If there’s any biomarker where you thought β€œnot sure what this means”, that’s exactly the kind of thing we want to improve.

Miloő Neőović

I’ve been looking for something that goes beyond β€œyour stress was high yesterday,” so this caught my attention. How personalized does it get over time?

Anna Druzhinets

@milosnesovicΒ Thanks for the question!

The personalization starts right from your very first session, as long as there’s enough Apple Health data from your watch over the past ~30 days. One important nuance: if you sleep with your Apple Watch (or Oura) on, that nighttime data helps the algorithm understand your day-to-day shifts better and adapt the analysis to how you’re feeling today.

Hope you enjoy it and that it really helps πŸ’›

Maria Ermatova

@milosnesovicΒ I am sure you will find what you are looking for with Welltory. Your personalised data will evolve within the first month of use and you will get really helpful insights!

Victoria Sukhenko

@milosnesovicΒ We really hope that you found exactly what you were looking for and that you will like our new update.

Evgeny Teilor

@milosnesovicΒ If you feel like you need more personalization, please let us know MiloΕ‘. We'll be sure to find a solution.
