Watchly is an app that offers you the opportunity to discover a variety of films, alone or with friends. Take the chance to make your movie nights even more entertaining and find new favourites. Select your streaming providers and country and then start.
My girlfriend and I couldn't decide what movies to watch, so we tried apps that promised to do exactly what Watchly does. But none of them really had that swipe system, or it was really bad. So I thought I could (hopefully) do it better.
You have the oppertunity to swipe alone or together with another person of your friendslist. For each friend you have an extra liked list with movies you both liked. You also have your solo liked list.
You can select your country and based on that which streaming provider you have (Netflix, Prime, etc), after that you can directly start swiping.
The app is not finished yet, I have so many ideas for future versions, like series, better filters for movies, more movie details and so on.
I hope to get some feedback on this and what I should do better.
@balodil Congrats on the launch! I think this app has promise. It would be cool to have "waiting rooms" (movie or TV streaming at designated times) where you could join a watch party and connect with others over similar movie or TV interests.
