While I made Wamellow Text-to-Speech due to myself being mute β€” it turned out that a lot of people that use Wamellow Text-to-Speech are transgender, or just generally feel insecure about their voice. I love to see that a simple joke with making a Text-to-Speech bot for Discord turned into a life saver for tens of thousands of people every month. With that, my goal has always been to make voice chat accessibility, well, as accessible as possible, without clutter. Accessibility features that aren't accessible aren't useful.

Wow, 97 voices in 10 different languages? That’s seriously impressive! I can’t wait to give this a shot.

@pixel_echoΒ I plan to release a public REST API in the future so anyone can integrate it into their own project(s) β€” time will tell tho :)

Urban Sage

It’s amazing to see how this little idea has grown and is now helping so many people.

Velvet Trace

I can totally see this making Discord game nights a lot more entertaining πŸ˜‚.

Crimson Orbit

I’m really curious about how easy it is to set this up on a server.

Maker

@crimson_orbitΒ its about a ten second to a minute task on mobile or desktop β€” depending how you want yo set it up

Ava Morgan

I know a few friends who would really benefit from this β€” accessibility is so important.

Noah Carter

The /tts voice command feels super user-friendly; great job keeping it straightforward.

Maker

@noah_carter3Β accessibility has to be accessible (or in other words, easy to use) β€” otherwise it wouldn't really be accessible, would it?
