Does this turn off the water to the house when it detects a problem? Otherwise this only alerts you to water damage, and does little to protect your house from water damage in the event of a leak.

@jameskoole I think step one is knowing there's water in places there shouldn't be. Step 2 is turning the water off. I know people who have been home the whole time only to find out the basement has been filling up for days.

Can't disagree. I'm suggesting that step two is possible today and products that only do step one aren't protect as much as they are alerting. Think smoke detectors vs. sprinklers.
