VS Lounge

Hi Product Hunt community! I'm the creator of vs-lounge. The inspiration for this project came from a personal struggle. Since I started using LLMs for development, I found myself with these short "waiting periods" while the AI generates code. In those moments, I’d often reflexively check social media, only to find my focus completely shattered. I realized that if there was a dedicated space right inside VSCode, I could stay in the "development zone" without the high switching cost of opening a browser. Here are the core concepts of vs-lounge: Zero Switching Cost: You can engage with the community directly inside your editor while waiting for LLM responses or long builds. No more breaking your flow by switching to a browser or SNS. Exclusively for Engineers: Because the service is accessible only via VSCode and requires GitHub authentication , it naturally creates a high-quality, dedicated space for software engineers. While we are starting with a limited number of threads—initially the "general" board—we plan to gradually add more categories as our user base grows.
