VS-1: FOSS audio sample tournament app

Too many samples, too little time?

VS-1 uses a Swiss-style tournament system borrowed from chess competitions. Instead of single-elimination brackets (where one bad matchup knocks out a great sample) or exhaustive round-robin (where comparing 100 samples means 4,950 matchups), Swiss tournaments strike a balance!

What do you think? …

Alexander Fedosov

Hi all! I'm a hobby musician and have a massive sample library I've collected over last 10 years. This means I have samples for almost every genre of music I want to make. Unfortunately, this also means I have to spent hours to find "exactly that kick sound".

So ranking audio samples easily was the issue I tried to solve with my VS-1 app, hope you find it useful too.

BTW: it free and open-source and will always stay this way!
