Volunteer Hours Tracker

Volunteer Hours Tracker

Free alternative to paid volunteer management software

Small nonprofits can't afford Galaxy Digital or VolunteerHub ($1,000-3,000/year). I'm a high school junior and Youth Co-President of India Association of Memphis (100+ volunteers). We couldn't afford existing tools, so I built a free alternative. Features AI certificates, admin dashboard, volunteer management admin verification. Actually free - no catch. Built this to help organizations like ours. If your nonprofit struggles with volunteer tracking, this might help.

I'm Youth Co-President of India Association of Memphis, where we coordinate 100+ volunteers for IndiaFest (10,000+ attendees). Last year, we almost had to cancel events because our volunteer tracking was total chaos - lost spreadsheets, hours creating certificates manually, zero visibility into who would actually show up. We looked at existing tools: Galaxy Digital, VolunteerHub, Better Impact. All cost $1,000-3,000/year. Impossible for our budget. So I taught myself Swift/Xcode and spent 3 months building what we actually needed: Event RSVP AI-generated certificates (saves our admin team hours every week) Admin dashboard showing who's engaged vs. MIA Admin verification for accountability Export reports for grant applications The problem: I realized if we couldn't afford these tools, thousands of other small nonprofits probably can't either. The gap between "free but useless" and "great but $3K" is massive. The solution: Make it actually free. No freemium model, no hidden fees, no ads. I'm 16, not a company trying to monetize you. We're rolling it out with IAM soon. Early feedback is really positive. Sharing here because I figured the Product Hunt community might know nonprofits that need this, or have feedback on how to reach more organizations. This is my first real app, so constructive feedback is super welcome! Questions I'd love input on: Should I build Android version? (Currently iOS only) How do I reach small nonprofits at scale? What features am I missing that would make this genuinely useful? Thanks for checking it out! 🙏
