This is the first ElevenLabs plugin for Figma! Using audio in Figma is annoying. Only MP4s are supported. The plugin inserts ElevenLabs text-to-speech and prompted sound effects as an MP4 (with optional visual waveform) into Figma. Including tons of search tools/filters to select & preview voices as well. It also has over 70 categorized pre-written sound effect prompts ready to use. Great for anyone prototyping a voice interface, needing a custom voice-over or adding custom sound effects.

I was designing agentic prototypes in Figma and using ElevenLabs. But it was cumbersome to generate, create video, export video, import into Figma --even copying pasting text added a lot of time. I also spend hours sometimes scouring libraries of sound effects for my interfaces or using Figma Sound Kit, ElevenLabs let's you prompt the sound effects you need which is a HUGE time-saver and let's you be very precise. I added a bunch of categories and a few easy, click to use prompts (not something ElevenLabs has in their API) but you can also just write your own in the plugin. I thought it would be amazing if I could preview, generate and insert the audio I needed without leaving the Figma workspace. I spent about a week to build it and here we are! Like with all my plugins, its 100% free to use with your own API key. This isn't a business for me, I want to help other designers be more productive.
