Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m the maker of VINState. I’ve spent years working with automotive data, cross-border vehicles, and all the messy spreadsheets that come with them. One thing kept frustrating me: VINs are full of useful information, but most tools make them hard to read or lock them behind paywalls. VINState is my attempt to fix that. With VINState, you paste a 17-character VIN and instantly get a clean, human-readable vehicle profile: make, model, year, engine, body type, and more. The interface is simple on purpose – I wanted something that used-car buyers, small dealers, and developers could all use without a learning curve.
