Thanks for hunting us @kwdinc! Hiya Product Hunters ๐Ÿ˜ป๐Ÿ™Œ Started as a side project, our team at Typito has built an easy way for marketers, bloggers, influencers and YouTubers to add engaging calls to action on any YouTube video they embed on their website / blog. We enable this by providing a custom video player that you can embed on any website. With annotations on YouTube dead, we believe this would make it really easy for marketers, influencers and affiliate folks to convert better with videos. Examples of Videozyme campaigns 1. (Medium) 2. (Wordpress) Integrations As of today you can embed Videozyme player on Wordpress, Blogger, Tumblr, WIX and any website framework where you have the permission to edit content as html. Bonus for Medium bloggers - we just integrated Videozyme with Medium a few days back!๐Ÿ“—Please note that Videozyme player won't work on Facebook, Instagram or any platform that doesn't let you embed content in html. Feedback Feel free to ask any questions you have and please be brutally honest with the feedback ๐Ÿ™‚. I'm sure we could certainly improve the user experience, especially the on-boarding - your feedback would certainly help us! @tmatthewj Yay! You have finally launched it after months of testinh and feedback! Congrats, looking forward to use it soon :) Q1) Why is it limited to just to Youtube videos? The CTAs work as overlay, is that correct? Q2) Apart from the current CTAs, do you plan to include smart elements (that are time/location sensitive)
@adithya Thank you! ๐Ÿ™‚ 1. We started with YouTube videos since it's the biggest video repo. Can definitely support FB / Vimeo etc going forward. 2. We didn't put much thought into smart elements - will definitely check out if it adds value!
Great to see this new tool @tmatthewj - would love to have seen this integrated into Typito for those of us already using the platform. Looking forward to testing the tool Also FYI clicking through on FF to check your blog I get an error: " uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate expired on 08 March 2018, 14:48. The current time is 14 March 2018, 08:24. Error code: SEC_ERROR_EXPIRED_CERTIFICATE"
@krishnade Thanks for the feedback on integrating the functionality in Typito - we will certainly consider that! We will look at the SSL certificate issue right away! Thanks for pointing it out. :)
@tmatthewj You are welcome - sent you a message in app too!
Is email integration available with in video?
@manikandanux We haven't integrated email gateway yet. If we see the product picking up, gateway would be one of the first things we will take a dig at. Thanks for the feedback!
I'm sure this is just me but I was really hesitant to watch that intro video. I did not know what that object was and only 1 thing came to mind. And it wasn't something I wanted that guy to tell me about. Ha!
@jasonsooter Haha, it was just a grooming tool! ๐Ÿ˜‚
@tmatthewj Ha! Ok that's good to hear ;-)
Looks neat. Exciting stuff. Can I also play around with the position of the CTA?
@vivekk Hey Vivek, thanks for your feedback! Yes - you can position the CTA the way you want, very similar to how you position a graphic in Canva or Typito :-).
This is incredible โ€“ a potential game changer. One question btw. How well does your video player work on mobile devices?
@shyjal Thank you! Videozyme's player works fine on all popular browsers across devices - mobile, tablet and desktop :-).
