Remember NFTs? Veve pioneered 3D collectible NFTs during the pandemic, and also offered a slew of limited edition digital comics as well. Given the NFT hype (and valuations!) have subsided, it appears that Veve is doubling-down on a more familiar collectible community: comic books! At SXSW they announced a partnership with Marvel featuring 300 limited edition titles to enjoy. Since Amazon acquired comiXology and hasn't done much with it, perhaps it is time for a renewed focus to challenge the 800 lb gorilla.
