I built Verity Protect because scam calls targeted my grandparents, and my family had to deal with freezing accounts and cleaning up the fallout after the fact. We wanted a way to help earlier, not after the damage was done. The FTC reported $12.5 billion in fraud losses in 2024, and it only seems to be rising; phone scams had the highest median loss per person.
