Back in my MBA days, I used tools like Atlas.ti and Nvivo to stay organized, but I still spent weeks drowning in my own data OR trying to figure out how to use the complex software. But even with good software, the mental drain of trying to find 'meaning' in dozens of messy interview transcripts was soul-destroying. Now, halfway through my PhD, I realized that I will face the same mountain of noise all over again. I didn't want a chatbot; or an "AI summariser". I wanted a simple system that could actually synthesize months of research into real insights without losing the audit trail back to the source. More importantly, I wanted full control of my research process. So, I built Verithos, an AI-Native Qualitative Research Co-Pilot. I originally built it just to save my own sanity, but then some early users got their hands on it and… well, it turns out, other researchers were all having the same nightmare. They didn't need another place to store data; they needed a way to find the truth in it. Although this was orginally built for academicians, I’m realising that it can be used for anyone doing professional customer discovery, market research or UX feedback.
