UXPin Desktop App

Agile UX in one place

UXPin saves us hundreds of hours of product development by simplifying collaboration. Plus, with its great library of components, I can literally go in, cut and paste a component into my design, and we’re off and running.

How does something like UXpin stack up to Figma, Sketch, XD and Studio? I'm not all too clear from the messaging if its intended to be the one stop shop design tool for product designers or intended to be used along side these tools for specific purposes.

@_mrdidi I have the same question
@_mrdidi Hey! First of all – I'm really sorry I've missed your question that and I'm writing you back just now, but please let me explain. UXPin is a full-stack platform which will help you go through all stages of the product design process. You'll be able to use it for design and prototyping, gathering feedback and developers handoff as well as for building the entire design system.
UXPin is a part of my daily work routine, and an awesome design tool for collaboration. However, I tried out the new desktop app, and ultimately decided to uninstall it. Nothing wrong with the app; it actually gives you more screen space to work. I just preferred working in my browser (like I have been), where opening designs in separate tabs instead of having individual windows open for each preview is a benefit for me. We also use Windows 7 at my job, so I'm sure it's a bit cleaner on Windows 10, etc. I used to be in product, so thought you may like to hear my feedback :) Happy to answer any questions!

Today we're happy to announce our brand new desktop application. Built to optimize your experience and has all the tools you know and love from the original browser version. Download available for Mac, or Windows. P.S. Don't forget — internet connection is still required.
