Hey Product Hunt community! 👋 I built Useful Tools Directory to solve the problem of finding the right tools for different workflows. As a developer myself, I spent countless hours researching and comparing tools, so I decided to create a centralized directory to help others save time. I'd love to hear your feedback on: Which categories would you like to see added? What features would make this more useful for you? Which tools do you think should be included? I'll be here all day to answer questions and discuss ideas!

@wlltb_zheng This looks very useful and exactly what developers need. What technology did you use to build this?
wlltb zheng
@ishu3101 built this using Next.js (App Router with TypeScript. For rapid development, I used Cursor AI to assist with code generation - it really helped speed up the development process, especially for boilerplate code and basic component structures.

@wlltb_zheng Oh I see. So how are you finding using Cursor AI? Have you thought about open sourcing this project?
wlltb zheng
@ishu3101 I'm planning to open source this project! I should mention that I'm primarily a Java developer, and Next.js is completely new territory for me - quite a learning curve! While the code might not follow all the best practices yet, I'm eager to share it and would really appreciate feedback from experienced Next.js developers. I'm currently cleaning up the code and adding documentation to make it more maintainable. I'll share the GitHub repository once it's ready. Regarding Cursor, I mainly use Composer, and my preferred model is Claude 3.5 Sonnet. Thank you very much for your interest!
