Hey Product hunters! 👋 We're excited to present Undercover ^^ In the age of social media, it's easy to forget how it feels to spend time with other humans directly around us. So my wife and I built this game to help people have fun together 😜 🥥In a nutshell: • Each player receives a secret word • The "Civilians" all receive the same word (e.g. "tiger") • The "Undercover" receives a slightly different word (e.g. "lion") • "Mr.White" receives no word at all • The goal is to guess other people's identities based on their descriptions of their word 🔑 Key features: • Only 1 phone and 3+ participants are needed • Everyone gets to speak, listen and express their imagination & deduction skills • At first players don't know their identities, leading to very funny situations 😂 • Up to 6 languages available (🇬🇧 🇮🇩 🇩🇪 🇨🇳 🇫🇷 🇪🇸) A funny thing is that neither Haiyan nor I have studied programming (we met in Physics class at university 🤓). One day, Haiyan decided to teach herself iOS development. After 4 months of hard work, she put Undercover ^^ on the App Store and received very positive feedback. Including from some Android users who asked us why the app was iPhone-only! So I jumped in and taught myself Android development in order to cover both platforms. It's incredible what one can learn online nowadays 👍, and it's so rewarding to build products and see them being used all over the world 🌏 Looking forward, we plan to improve the game further, and let more people know about it so they can spend great time with their loved ones! 💌
