@oliverwaters Just signed up for my free pass - will be really interested to see how this differs to Twickets / Vibe. As a lover of live shows, I'm really keen to find a programme run by the fans, for the fans!
Amar ChauhanMaker@amarchauhan · Co-Founder & Managing Director at Una
@oliverwaters @themarkstern Thanks for signing up for your free Pass. The difference between us and Twickets is we are a primary seller (Twickets are only secondary) with a not-for-profit market place built into the system. So you can buy and sell tickets all on one platform.
Andre Elias@zito · Co-Founder & CTO at Fidel
@amarchauhan Well done! Looks like you've come a long way since we last met. Best of luck!
Amar ChauhanMaker@amarchauhan · Co-Founder & Managing Director at Una
@zito Many thanks André. I hope everything is going well at Fidel.

This looks great, I love the anti tout element that's built right into the platform. This makes so much sense, love the video too! Signed up for my pass.

@fredrivett Hi Fred, thank you for signing up! Glad you like the video.

This space is super interesting. I worked on a (failed) ticketing startup about 4 yrs ago, I really wonder how they will/can scale outside of the UK. (Although the UK market is probably big enough to become huge).
Georgina HollisMaker@georgina_hollis · Co-Founder and Director at Una
@bramk Hi Bram, thank you for your comment. Whilst there are a lot of players in this industry, the market has stagnated, and there are demands for change in the UK and abroad. We are initially targeting the festival market, here and overseas to ensure we swiftly break into the market and build a large customer base quickly. The US is a prime example of market failure in the ticketing industry, with prolific ticket touting and fraud, and as such, will be a prime market for Una to break into.

@georgina_hollis thanks Georgina!

Alex Gilmore@alexgilmore0811 · Co-Founder & Web / UX Designer at Ruzzit
Love the video! Good job. Question- How were you able to have all the different festivals allow your tickets / new system compared to what they already have?
Georgina HollisMaker@georgina_hollis · Co-Founder and Director at Una
@alexgilmore0811 Hi Alex, thank you for your comment. We have purposely built our system to be incredibly flexible. This means we can integrate into existing access control systems that venues/festivals might already have in place. If an event wishes to take full advantage of our tout-proof ticketing and on-site services, then it is in their interest to exclusively ticket their event through Una. Our system can work seamlessly in both instances.
