@willimholte : I think that their wording is intentionally misleading. I think I've deciphered it though: The Ultrapak can charge ITSELF in 15 minutes. It can't charge your phone in 15 minutes; it'll charge your phone the same speed as most battery packs (i.e. at 2.1A power).

UNU's Ultrapak is a battery pack for smartphones and tablets that can deliver a full charge to devices after just 15 minutes of charging itself up. Ultrapak's super-fast charging is due to "Ultra-X" charging technology, a special type of A+ lithium polymer battery that uses proprietary additives, which increases the normal battery charging speed by 8 times.UNU claims the device is "the world's fastest self-charging battery pack." Each Ultrapak features an LED screen that displays both a percentage number and battery graphic representing how much juice users have left. The devices come in two configurations: the Ultrapak Tour ($99.99), the larger 10,0000mAh version with a dual USB port, and the Ultrapak Go ($59.99), the smaller 3,000mAh version. Both are available for preorder, and will ship on August 24.

I have a very limited understanding of the science behind batteries, can someone give me a short answer regarding whether this will totally fry my phone's battery, be somewhat bad in the long run, be totally fine, etc?
