uEye is free, fun, and an interactive way to learn UI design. There are 15 UI design challenges and you have to spot which UI design fundamentals have been applied incorrectly! Get a point for each correct answer, and lose a point for those you get wrong.
Hey all, Gary here from DesignCourse. Some of you may know me as the owner of the DesignCourse YouTube Channel: https://youtube.com/designcourse where I teach UI/UX and Frontend Development.
I wanted to gamify UI design education. I thought of this concept and with the help of my co-founder, we made it a reality. It's actually a module-type that's a part of the full UI design course at https://designcourse.com (which is currently in a 1 week pre-launch).
If you enjoy the game, consider enrolling in the course during the pre-launch week! Pre-launch will end on the night of September 20.
Very excited about the launch, I've worked hard on this along with @gary_simon1 to make a new fun way to improve your eye in UI design.
I got 12 points in the end, what did you guys get?

Fun AND educational! Going over the basics is never a bad idea.
Btw: for some reason, I'm not seeing my progress being shown in the main list (points do get saved correctly)

Hi! Congrats on your new project. This was really fun and mind opening. on the first time I just pushed all the buttons to see what the app did just for fun :P But I got 26 when I took it more seriously :D I'm a fullstack software engineer more focused on backend but with online resources like yours I've improved a lot my front end skills too and it's really fun when you get it.

Fun, I love that you’re able to test and improve UI knowledge with actual, realistic examples (vs. just reading about things like white space and alignment). And that the corrected version of the design is revealed with each correct answer!
Only wish it worked better on mobile- tried it out on an iPhone and the design example was always cut off once you figured out the last correct answer.
