This is a cool use of steganography. I hope these ones are harder to crack than the images from most other stego tools.

So how does it work? Is the encrypted message being kept in some metadata?

@ayushpokh yeah I thought so too. Would be nice to have the creator describe the method so we know how trustworthy/valid is this.

@filipluch Hi Filip. txtninja uses a mix of encryption and steganography as algorithm for encoding hidden data (using a password, if a password is provided) as Ayush mentioned above and so, the hidden file cannot be retrieved easily without decoding it first. Especially since no one knows that the picture contains hidden text.
